Understanding and Implementing AS9145: APQP & PPAP

Course Description

This Workshop is designed to provide participants with an understanding of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and how to implement APQP as part of the New Product Development process. This course also covers Aerospace Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), including where and when to incorporate prevention tools and methodologies such as DFMEA, Process Flow, PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, and SPC.

Learning Objectives

• Demonstrate an understanding of Aerospace Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
• Demonstrate an understanding of the 5 phases of APQP, including the specific inputs and outputs related to each phase
• Identify the key linkages between AS9100 requirements and AS9145, AS9102, and AS9103
• Evaluate the 5 phases of APQP
• Demonstrate an understanding Aerospace Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) requirements
