For many companies that manufacture parts for Aviation, Space and Defense AS9100 is the primary QMS standard that must be followed to supply in the market, but what about distributors and those that pass-through materials? For these individuals, many questions begin to emerge, questions like

• What is the right standard for us to assure quality processes that deliver both effectiveness and efficiency?
• Am I eligible for AS9100 even though I do not typically make a product
• I have heard of AS9120, but I am unsure if my ISO 9001 system will be a solid starting point…where do I go next?
